Faith Williams

Patient Care Coordinator

Faith Williams was born in Norfolk, Virginia.  While there, she graduated with honors from a magnet high school for those interested in Science and Medicine careers.  Her plan was to become a pediatric nurse, but after her first semester at her parent’s alma mater, Old Dominion University, she switched her major to primary education.  Faith’s family relocated to the DFW area from Virginia and she ended up transferring to the University of North Texas, where she has a little over a year left on her teaching degree. Faith has a people centered focus from her work as a tutor and childcare provider and will bring a passion to her new role as a patient care coordinator.

From an early age, Faith would spend hours on skin and nail care, teaching herself many advanced techniques for stunning nails.  When she read about the opportunity to join FāC, Faith thought it was a perfect marriage of personal care and her science and medicine background.

Faith also has a passion for animals.  During middle and high school, she spent hundreds of hours volunteering at the Virginia Zoo.  She has also fostered neonatal kittens.

When not at work or school, Faith loves music, baking, and spending time with her friends and family.

Sanderson Headshot 1.jpeg

Dr. Drew Sanderson, M.D.

Medical Director

Dr. Sanderson developed an affinity for medicine early, and upon entering college, he elected to get a Bachelor of Science degree in respiratory therapy with a minor in chemistry. After graduating from Texas State University with honors, he was accepted to medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He graduated medical school in the top 20% of his class and obtained a residency in the highly competitive field of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery. Immediately after completing medical school Dr. Sanderson volunteered to serve in the United States Army Reserve and has served proudly for 13 years, including one combat deployment to Iraq.  He currently holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

Dr. Sanderson completed his surgical internship at the University of Tennessee in Memphis and completed his otolaryngology-head and neck surgery residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He is board certified in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery and his intricate understanding of the facial and nasal anatomy, provided by otolaryngology, prepared him well for his plastic surgery training.

After completing his training in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, he continued his training with a second residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He chose the University of Nebraska for its strong aesthetic surgery program. During his plastic surgery residency, Dr. Sanderson acquired two years of intensive plastic surgery instruction with focuses on: cosmetic/aesthetic surgery, breast reconstruction, microsurgery, wound surgery and reconstruction of defects left from skin cancer excisions.

Dr. Sanderson is board certified in plastic surgery and otolaryngology and has more than 13 years of medical and surgical experience, but his personal and approachable demeanor and genuine care for his patients is what separates him.

MEET THE TEAM

Christy Hennigan

Christy Hennigan RN, BSN, CANS

Owner, Founder

Aesthetic Nurse Specialist

Raised on a cotton farm in Lubbock, TX by two  very hard working parents, Christy was taught at a young age if you want to achieve success you have to put in the work.  She took that farm life experience to heart by working hard in school and ultimately received a scholarship to Texas Tech University, graduating with top honors in 1996. This was her first step into the professional world and one that would take her through a variety of positions in the corporate and non-profit sector. During this time she married her husband and started a young family. She began to feel a calling after her third daughter was born to serve people in a more personal way.

So, with three young children under the age of 10, she completed a one-year accelerated second degree BSN program at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, graduating with top honors again. The grit and determination that was the fabric of her upbringing had finally placed her in the field she was passionate about... Nursing. The experience she had as a young mother created a natural fit to what would become her first area of specialty as a pediatric nurse at the renowned Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth. It was the experience helping children and families navigate illness, in some cases terminal, that forged her ability to care for each patient in a special way.

As an avid fitness enthusiast and someone dedicated to a healthy lifestyle and aesthetic care, Christy found herself thinking, what if I could couple these two areas of passion? And so she did!  By seeking out an opportunity to intern at McGuinness Dermatology and train with one of the country’s top nurse injectors, Christy set herself on a path that scores of patients are glad she did. It’s path led her to complete her career dream, creating Facial Aesthetics by Christy or FāC.

What makes Christy and FāC so unique?

If you want to be treated with kindness, respect, authenticity and transparency, you will find few places that can offer this unique combination. You will never be pushed to do something you are uncomfortable with or that Christy hasn’t done herself. When it comes to cosmetic injections, her philosophy is simple: always strive for the most natural-looking result. In her mind, facial injections should be undetectable and used to enhance or restore your natural beauty. One of her greatest joys is hearing how patient’s results have impacted their morale and confidence.

Christy has a passion for learning and growth, and has traveled around the country to learn and train with the industry’s very best aesthetic physicians and providers. Her many years of experience and ongoing desire to keep up with industry trends and techniques have led her to be a highly sought after injector.  Her meticulous eye leads to balanced, natural-looking outcomes and very happy patients!

Brooke Ham, RN, BSN

Aesthetic Nurse

Brooke was raised in Trophy Club, Texas by two wonderful parents. At a young age she learned firsthand about adaptability and compassion when her parents adopted her 5 orphaned cousins. Growing up with deep roots in the church, Brooke went on her first mission trip to Guatemala at the age of 12 where she discovered her passion for nursing and helping others. She began working hard in high school to achieve her dream of becoming a nurse by joining the biomedical sciences academy at Byron Nelson High School where she experienced hands-on activities in anatomy, cell biology, disease research, and working in the local nursing home. After high school, her love for nursing grew as she began the accelerated BSN program at WCU in Dallas where she was chosen to study abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After graduating nursing school, she began working on the medical-surgical and telemetry unit at Baylor Scott & White where she gained invaluable patient care experience.

Working in the hospital setting as a RN for  several years, Brooke decided to pursue her dream job as an Aesthetic Nurse. She loves  helping others achieve their goals by building confidence and highlighting their natural beauty. Her love for education continues to grow as she is currently in her final year of Nurse Practitioner school at UTA.

In her free time she loves traveling, yoga, and cooking new recipes. She is honored to learn from Christy and so happy to be a part of the FāC team!
